Quinten's first plane ride!
For Andi's 40th Birthday, her family (including cousins from Scotland) planned a Disney cruise.
What she didn't know was her 3 best friends were also planning on going on the cruise to surprise her!
It was a lovely time all around.
The travel was easy, Quinten was his curious, silly self, and we all had a fabulous time!
I packed lots of goodies for the plane to keep Q busy.
He loved playing with the gel window decals and decorating our window for Halloween!
Landing in Orlando with Kara, Lynn, and Brody!
After we surprised Andi we wasted no time splashing in the water.
Quinn especially liked Nemo's Reef.
Each night after dinner we went to a show.
As you can see, Q LOVED watching the singing and dancing.
He sat like a big boy through the whole show.
We would see the different characters around the ship, and although Q always wanted to see them and asked where they were. He wasn't crazy about getting close enough for a bunch of pictures.
There is tons to do on the ship so we decided to spend most of the second day aboard.
Q loved the big Callie bone on the miniature gold course.
Trying to mow the extra large lawn mower.
Hole in 1!
After gold it was off to the basketball court.
All the playing made someone very hungry!
Loving his ice cream cone.
When we hit the Bahamas we got off the boat for a little exploring.
The island air wiped Q out...
or maybe it was all the golf and basketball!
When we got back to our rooms we were greeted with pirate bandanas.
The ship was having a pirate party and they wanted to make sure everyone was dressed up.
I guess they didn't realize that we LOVE dressing up and were prepared with our own costumes.
Q and Daddy thought it would be funny to wear their bandanas and talk like pirates while we got ready for dinner.
Much like at home Q loved being in the bath and spent more than an hour in his boat bath each night.
After dinner everyone went on deck to watch the pirate show.
Me and my little scalawag!
Fighting to stay awake to watch the pirate show.
After the pirate party is was off to our show and then bed.
All that partying helped for some very good sleeping.
Quinten is finally turning into a good sleeper.
Mickey decided to join Daddy for some relaxation time.
Jason, Scott, and some of the other guys went bottom water.
Daddy's catch of the day!
They also pulled in 2 sharks.
The Disney Dream
While the guys fished, the ladies relaxed in the sun.
Quinten had so much fun building sand castles and swimming in the blue water.
Ainslie and Quinn
Aiden and Quinn looking for shells.
Castaway Cay was definitely our favorite part of the trip.
Q took a nice long nap on the beach.
Aiden and Quinten playing at dinner.
Waiting in Orlando airport to come back home.
Unfortunately the Disney shuttle got us to the airport near noon and our flight wasn't until 3:00.
Luckily I had a few more special treats packed for Q and we enjoyed a few cocktails before boarding.
Q fell asleep before we took off and didn't wake up until we landed.
Great flight home!
