It is unbelievable that Quinten hit double digits (10 months) Friday!
He cracks us up more and more each day. He has such a big personality for being so little.
Rocking a mohawk!
Caught pulling up on his crib!
While I was getting ready for work, Quinn pulled up on our bed and was having a conversation with me. He is yelling "da da la na." It is really funny when he talks, he uses different tones and inflections with his little voice.
Newest trick...feeding Callie.
Isn't that hard since she is a mini horse!
Eating banana, cantaloupe and puffs!
YUM!
Quinten tried yogurt for the first time this month...he is frustrated at the beginning of the video because I was setting up the camera and not getting him the Yo Baby quick enough!
Such a handsome little boy!
Posing with Mommy!
Petting Callie
Playing at school!
Quinn just took his little friends book...and got caught!
This is was the excerpt from Quinten's school newsletter.
The picture is blurry because he is shaking a rattle in one hand and banging a drum with the other.
We were all laying on our bed chatting, waiting for the sheets to dry.
Quinten's hair was out of control and he looks huge!
Quinten petting Callie!
1. Pulling up on everything!
2. Lots of new sounds and babbling, the funniest is the gurgle noise he makes.
3. Shy Guy!
When he sees someone new he puts a very coy face on and hides in my arm, within seconds he is smiling and laughing with that new person.
4. Trying lots of new foods (chick peas, avocado, cheerios, cantaloupe are a few favs)
5. Clapping he actually did this today for the first time...where were we...Nordstrom shoe department! Definitely takes after Mommy;)
6. Plays peek a boo!
He has laughed when we have played with him for awhile, but now he will pull a blanket up to play with us.
7. Scoots
He is always on the move these days...skipping the crawling stage altogether we think.
Q manages to get himself from one side of the room to the other (mainly to get Callie or one of her toys).
8. Starting to know people by name (Daddy, Callie, Grandma, Grandpa and Elmo of course!)
9. Tries to whistle!
Thanks GP for introducing this...when you whistle to Q he tries to do it back.
10. Rolls the ball back and forth with Daddy!

1. Books, Books, Books
If I were a Zebra is still his favorite by far!
2. Callie, we all lay in bed together in the morning and Quinten will sit and talk or scream to Callie for an hour. He is always scooting to get closer to her and trying to pet and kiss her every chance he gets. Luckily, Callie is a very, mellow dog and pays him little attention, other than the occasional lick on the face to get the remains of whatever he last ate.
3. Johnny Jumper...jumping toy that hangs from doorway (Thanks GM)
4. Blowing raspberries
5. Playing in his crib
Q loves standing in his crib and using the railing to walk all around.
6. Taking walks in the stroller.
7. Loves going new places and seeing new people.
After the initial shyness, Quinn loves being held and playing with whomever is willing to entertain him.
8. Walker toy!
He loves the new found freedom his walker has brought and can get around the kitchen with ease.
9. Playing with his spikey ball (mini exercise ball)
10. Waking up! (ha...although he still wakes up at least twice a night..that is not what I mean)
When Q first wakes up, either in the morning or from a nap (if he has slept long enough) he is the happiest, silliest baby. Lots of crazy conversations, squeals of delight when he sees Callie, jumping, flailing and pulling up on our headboard (we bring him in our room when he wakes up). He is definitely a morning person!
