A long cold winter...

Our growing family of five settled into a nice routine. The kids are all playing, napping, and growing. 

Quinten continues to amaze us daily with all he is learning. He traces his letters and words beautifully. Knows lots of letters of the alphabet and words that start with those letters. And continues to love Frozen, Wizard of Oz, and Super heros.

Hudson had a difficult month. What started out as a cold with a fever, resulted in him staying in the hospital for 2 nights. He had difficulty breathing and just looked wiped out. So I made my first trip with three kids out by myself. Kind of a train wreck only because I thought it was going to be a quick trip to the doctor and ended up being a four hour ordeal getting xrays of his chest. Two days later when Jason returned for his check up they sent him straight to Dupont's er. Where he ended up having to stay for 2 nights. It was particularly hard for mommy because I had to leave him at night to go home with baby P. But him and Daddy had special bonding time.

Princess Presley is such a good baby and as long as she has a clean diaper and is fed, she is a very happy baby.

Aunt Jody & Uncle Paul came to visit their niece!

 Daddy surprised me with a girls' lunch for my birthday.

After getting family pictures taken he dropped me and Presley off at a Ulysses Gastro Pub for lunch with Kara, Stephanie, and Lynn.

Quinten hd his first trip to the dentist. He did amazing. Sat throuh an hour cleaning with no complaints and had NO cavities!

 Here are some pictures from when Hudson wasn't feeling well. They are so sad and you can just tell how yucky he was feeling. Poor baby boy

The doctor gave him a few breathing treatments to see if his oxygen levels would go up, but it didn't seem to help, so they admitted him overnight.

 It was so sad to see our baby in such distress. But reality check was we were there for a short term stay. My heart goes out for all those families that have to stay for a long time and children that aren't getting better.

 Hudson perked up as soon as Bopa came to visit and he got to wear his hat!
Hudson is still at the top of the growth charts.
He weighs 30lbs. 13.8 oz (Quinten is right near the same weight but a little taller) and is 2 feet 11.75 inches tall.

 Hudson has completely taken over the nap nanny. It is like his barker lounger. He watches tv, plays with his iPad, and naps in it. Hudson still likes to have a bottle when he is tired. And although he talks great and will say bottle of milk. He still prefers to call it a Bobbie!

2 Things about Presley at 2 months...
1. She is in size 1 diapers and growing out of newborn clothes
2 . She is staying awake a little more in the daytime and is waking up 2-3 times at night.

2 Things she loves...
1. Her room, Presley settles very easily when she is swaddled and rocked in her room.
And who wouldn't love that room!?!

2. She loves being held and loves when Quinten talks to her.

Princess P's 1st month

So I have been really bad about keeping up with the blog the last four months.

But I am hoping to do my best to stay on top of it. 

We have had a crazy busy time since Princess P came along with having a new baby in the house, visits from friends and family and Christmas literally right around the corner.

It took us a little while to get into a routine but once we did it was as if she was always here.

Somehow we managed to get the 3 kids on the same nap schedule, most days, which gives mommy an hour or two of down time (or cleaning time).

The boys absolutely adore their little Princess.

Quinten is as gentle and loving as you would imagine, given his personality. Asking where P is the minute he wakes up and always giving her kisses.

Hudson, Godzilla, LOVES her SOOO much, he is not quite sure how to be gentle just yet;)

 One of our favorite new toys is squishy sand. It keeps the boys entertained for a good amount of time!

 Christmas was very relaxing this year.

Grandma and Bopa came to spend time with us and we rested, ate, and opened presents of course!

 Q is at the stage where if he is actually allowing you to take a picture of 

him he is going to make a silly face.

 Our three babies. I don't think anyone know would have ever pictured us with three kids, including ourselves. But we certainly wouldn't change it for anything!

We had a visit with Meg, Sue, Candace, Trey, Ally, Sawyer, and Chase from school. Believe it or not with that many kids in the house. It was such a nice relaxed visit. The kids played so nicely in the toy room and Baby P slept most of the visit and loved being held by Candace.

Donna and Naomi also came to visit. Hudson was loving baby Naomi.

 Hudson talks so much and he loves to brush his teeth. He tells me mommy brush the teeth.

 He is also a wizard at puzzles on the ipad and already can count to 8.

 This is Q's favorite sleeping position and we find him napping in various spots of the house.

 Hudson went through a period where he was falling asleep at lunch time everyday, made for an easy nap time. 

 I was laying on the couch with P and Hudson managed to wedge his little self in right next to her and fall asleep. They are so sweet.

 Quinten and Daddy went to their first movie in a theater together. There was a showing of Wizard of Oz, one of Q's absolute favorites!

Presley now weighs 8 lbs. 9.7oz. and is 14.02inches long.

She is in newborn diapers and clothes and her cord fell off when she was 10 days old.

1 thing Presley loves at 1 month...

Being cuddled. She loves to sleep and be held. This little girl is already so loved. 

During the day she naps anywhere and everywhere, but at night she is in her rock and play craddle in her own room.
